Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to what business owners ask us most. For anything else, our consultants are a call or message away.
How long does it take to set up a company in the UAE?
It depends on the jurisdiction and business activity. Many free zone setups move quickly once documents are complete, while some mainland and regulated activities need extra approvals. We give you a clear timeline during your free consultation.
Can I own 100% of my company?
Yes. Free zone and offshore companies allow 100% foreign ownership, and most mainland activities now allow up to 100% foreign ownership as well. We confirm the rules for your specific activity.
Which is better for me: mainland, free zone or offshore?
Mainland suits businesses trading directly across the UAE, free zones suit international trade and services, and offshore suits asset holding and international business. We compare your options honestly and recommend the one that fits.
Do I need to be in the UAE to start the process?
Much of the setup can begin remotely using copies of your documents. Some steps, such as visa medicals and Emirates ID biometrics, need you to be in the UAE, and we plan those for you.
Can you help me open a corporate bank account?
Yes. We guide you on suitable banks and prepare the documentation they need, then support you through the application. Final approval is always at the bank’s discretion.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. You receive a clear, itemised quote before you commit, covering government fees and our service fees, so you know exactly what you are paying for.
Do you help after the licence is issued?
Yes. We handle visas, renewals, accounting, VAT and Corporate Tax, compliance filings and amendments, with one point of contact as your business grows.
Where is your office?
We are based at Jafza 16, Office 241, 2nd Floor, Mina Jebel Ali, Jebel Ali Freezone, Dubai. You are welcome to visit us, or we can meet by phone or video call.
How many visas can my company get?
Your visa allocation depends on the jurisdiction, licence type and office space you choose. Free zone packages range from a single visa upwards, and mainland allocations are linked to your office size.
Do I need a physical office?
Not always. Many free zones offer flexi-desk or shared-desk options, offshore companies need no physical office, and mainland companies need a registered tenancy (Ejari). We help you choose the option that fits.
Can I sponsor my family once my company is set up?
In most cases, yes. Once you hold an investor or employment residence visa and meet the salary and housing requirements, you can sponsor your spouse, children and in some cases parents. We manage the applications for you.
Do I need to register for VAT and Corporate Tax?
VAT registration depends on your taxable turnover, and most UAE businesses need to register for Corporate Tax. Our accounting and tax team assesses your obligations and handles registration and filing.
Can I change my business activity or jurisdiction later?
Yes. We handle licence amendments, adding or changing activities, share transfers and moving your company between jurisdictions when your plans change.
What happens when my licence is due for renewal?
We remind you ahead of time and manage the renewal of your licence, establishment card and visas, so your company stays in good standing without interruption.
Can you help me close my company?
Yes. Our restructuring and liquidation service covers company closure, visa cancellations and deregistration with the relevant authorities.
